Since hurricane Earl is a catagory 4 and will hit the Carolinas Thurday and Friday followed by Tropical storm Fiona.  All my attention will have to be on making sure my family is prepared to with stand it and if need be leave the area.  So since mother nature calls I will have to take a rain check on playhouse week.  I will continue it come next Monday.  Thank you for understanding! This was the first playhouse I made my daughters.  I took the top of a dresser (the armoire) off.  We wouldn't use it.  The previous owners had cut a hole in the back bottom I'm guessing they kept a tv in there.  I also took out the wood bar that you hang clothes on.  I sanded it completely down.  Then I started painting a very detailed house including a tree and such on the outside.  I did all

Ok this is a fun easy project! I took a few left over easter eggs from last year.  Put a dab of hot glue on the inside of the egg to keep it closed.  Then take a wire hanger bend it into a circle and the hook of it into a loop.  Next take tissue paper and wrap it around the wire to make it look pretty.  Place each on on the wire with hot glue and a dab of hot glue where each egg touches each

Take a 12x12 scrapbooking paper and mark off every two inches.  As you can see I already made the lines spaced every two inches.  Cut along the lines. This was super simple.  I made about a year ago.  Its about 3ft long.  Take a plan board about two inches in from either end drill to holes in the back of the board.  Don't drill the whole way through.  This is for the nails to catch on to hang it on the wall.  Then cut five stripes of ribbon about a two feet long.  Just hot glue them on the back of the board.  Two of them wrap them around the

This is our table.  Its counter height. (32" x 64" x 36")  We used 2x4, 2x6 and 2x2 (for the supports).  We sanded and stained it two different colors.  An ebony and a cherry wood stain.  I love the country yet modern look.  You'll notice there are no screws showing.  Very strong and stable table.
